Know Your Worth – Poem
Too short, too fat
Too big, too thin
Some things, out of many,
That run through your mind
Too loud, too dull
Too forward to care
Some flaws that you think
You 'ere born with by instinct
When will you learn
Your worth in this world?
When will you know
You're irreplaceable?
You, yes you,
The one with eyes like stars
Lips that a man
Would be honored to kiss
Hands that one
Would never let go
And a soul as pure as the Angel himself
Look at yourself,
And marvel with joy
At the beauty you behold,
Not the faults at height
For you are so, so extraordinary
A miracle at work
The bravest of them all,
Know your worth.
